PORTLAND:

We had lunch with my cousin in Portland and in his neighborhood there is an amazing little free library designed like the tardis. This brought delight.

And last night for the first time we decided to drive late into the night so we would make it to the Redwoods. This resulted in a midnight arrival at Crescent, CA and a stay in a hotel. The kids are delighted. But they are watching cartoons right now, so I need to wrap this up and take them out to see the Redwoods!
