Chocolate Eggnog… mmmmmmm……
Chocolate Eggnog is full of things I WANT my kids to consume with no compromises. It has protein and Vitamin K2 in the eggs, calcium and good fats in the milk, plus important minerals from the raw cacao and sea salt. This chocolate eggnog is also low in sugar, but it’s delicious, they love it and don’t feel deprived of yummy treats. I don’t really follow recipes, but for those that do it goes something like this:
3 cups milk (I use raw, grassfed, whole milk)
3 tablespoons of cacao or cocoa powder (unsweetened)
a tiny sprinkle of stevia powder (or sweetener of your choice)
a dash of sea salt
a sprinkle of vanilla
Put everything in the blender and whoosh. So yummy!
As a note, we only consume raw eggs that are from healthy, free range chickens and wash the outside of the egg before cracking. Always consume raw eggs at your own risk.
