Victoria B.C. reminds me of Europe. The buildings, the layout of the downtown… We spend the first day wandering around downtown in the morning and having an afternoon tea with the kid’s great grandmother and great-aunt in the afternoon. We stayed with their Great Uncle and his wonderful family. The kids have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know their cousins (as I type this, they are enjoying staying up late and running around the yard, singing, screaming and playing in the dark. I know they need to go to bed, but I hate to rip them apart when they will be separated at our morning departure).
Day 17 was spent at the Children’s Farm in Beacon Hill park, which has a great little petting zoo. They we played at the playground and went to Miniature World. The day finished off with lots of playing in the backyard and some wonderful, authentic Thai food cooked by our amazing hostess.
