3 Ingredient Coconut Maple Freezer Fudge
Coconut Maple Freezer Fudge Recipe
I love coming up with grain-free, nutrient dense recipes to treat myself and my kids with, since we rarely (if ever) buy sweets from the store. These treats are delicious and full of wonderful, healthy fats and are so satisfying! Plus, they only require 3 ingredients!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup coconut butter (sometimes called coconut spread… for a good place to buy it, click here)
1/2 cup butter (coconut oil would work just as well if you want a PALEO option)
1/3 cup organic maple syrup
dash of sea salt
Put all ingredients in a saucepan and gently stir over low heat until melted and well blended. Pour into candy molds and put in the freezer. Should become firm within 20 minutes and ready to eat. These are rich and filling, so you will only eat a few before satisfying your sweet tooth!
Please enjoy and comment below to let me know how it turned out! I am also always looking for good primal treats, so feel free to share below!
Thanks for reading!

Yum! Can you sub regular butter for the coconut butter?
March 19, 2014 @ 10:59 pm
Actually nut butter would sub better than regular butter. But you could try it if you want and let me know how it turns out.

I’d like to use stevia instead of maple syrup. Of course, I would have to use only a small amount. Would this affect the consistency negatively? If so, do you have any suggestions fora natural, sugar-free alternative? Thanks! Can’t wait to try out the recipe.

iI think stevia would probably work. I haven’t tried it, but if you try it, please tell me how it works!!!

Hello! I just made your recipe and the flavour is delicious, but it separated completely 🙁 I used creamed coconut which I read somewhere is the same as coconut butter. Is this true? Or maybe that’s why it didn’t homogenize? Sorry for all the questions. I might try to melt it all down again. Thankyou!

creamed coconut is not the same in my understanding. Coconut butter is much denser. 🙂
