Strawberry Kefir Smoothie

strawberrykefirwideKefir smoothies are part of breakfast almost every day. They are delicious and so quick and easy. In order to make kefir smoothies, first you need milk kefir. To make a strawberry kefir smoothie, like ours, simply take:

3 cups kefir

3/4 frozen strawberries

1/4 tsp stevia powder or honey to taste

1/2 tsp almond or vanilla extract (optional)

Blend well until all the chunks of strawberries are gone. Pour and drink immediately. My children LOVE this and I love that they are getting a full spectrum of probiotics as well as fruits and full fat milk. What’s not to love?
